The 30th anniversary of Nirvana's In Utero has been commemorated with the unveiling of a mural in Camden.

Camden has a new mural up to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Nirvana's third and last album, In Utero. This Saturday (4 November) between 12 PM and 5 PM, fans are invited to the mural on Stucley Place, just off Camden High Street, to check out the freshly reissued album and leave a message. The album In Utero debuted on September 21, 1993. The album's musical rawness was met with equal parts shock and elation from critics and fans alike, as producer Steve Albini exposed every primal aspect of the most combative but sensitive material Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl would ever record. The 30th anniversary reissue features a total of 72 songs, 53 of which have never been heard before. Live in Los Angeles (1993) and Live in Seattle (1994), the band's final Seattle performance, are among the previously unreleased concerts, along with six bonus live tracks from Rome, Springfield, and New York.
